With a wide variety of safety technologies added to this year’s model, the CT6 is among the safest in its class. First is front pedestrian braking. Available in the Driver Awareness Package, this innovation uses a camera to scan the road in front of you. The driver will be alerted if a pedestrian is detected, and the brakes will be applied, if necessary. This inclusion helps to avoid or reduce the severity of any potential collision.

Another addition is Night Vision. This available feature uses thermal technology to identify large animals on the road ahead. It senses body heat and helps to reduce the chances of a collision with a deer, for example.

Also, Surround Vision is an available feature. This incredible technology gives those in the car an all-around, bird’s eye view of the vehicle and its surroundings. For security purposes, the available Surround Vision Recorder system records from every camera any time a door handle is pulled or if the car’s alarm is activated. Other standard safety features include parking assist, low tire-pressure warning, and more.
