Buick Verano better than Honda Accord
With all the recent changes and advances in the automotive industry, it can be no surprise that the rankings have been shaken up, and that domestic brands like Buick are making their way up the charts. This year Consumer Reports ranked Buick Verano better than Honda Accord for the first time. Winning awards for their Verano and Regal models, the Buick lineup has certainly benefitted from the change in styling and audience in the last few years. We’ll tell you what we know.
Buick has been struggling to change their stereotypical image of a brand for retirees over the last few years. With advertising campaigns and a refreshing redesign of their vehicles, they have found success in changing their audience’s perception. The changing style has resulted in Buick vehicles becoming more modern, but without asking them to sacrifice any of their luxury quality and comfort as vehicles that are perfect for any driver.
This year, according to Consumer Reports, Buick is having a better year than Honda, making it the only domestic brand to have climbed into the top 10. The top brands, due to American-made cars’ rather poor history, have been imports for the last several years. This year, however, marks the change that we have been waiting for and the proof that we wanted to prove that Buick’s efforts are indeed succeeding.
