The 2022 GMC Terrain comes in five trims: SL, SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The AT4 and Denali are “arriving late summer 2021” according to GMC. Here are all their starting MSRPs, sorted in order of ascending cost.
The 2022 Terrain has plenty of standard and available connectivity features you’ll love, like wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, GPS-linked navigation, wireless device charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and much more. It also has the GMC Pro Safety Suite, which includes lane keep assist with lane departure warning, Intellibeam-auto high beams, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, and a following distance indicator. Other available features include lane change alert with side blind alert, rear cross traffic alert, and rear park assist.
Every 2022 GMC Terrain, regardless of trim, sports a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine. It produces 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Most trims come standard with FWD and have an available AWD option, excluding the SL and AT4, which are FWD-only and AWD-only, respectively. FWD models are EPA-estimated at 25-city/30-highway mpg, while AWD models are rated at 25-city/28-highway mpg. All models also have a Traction Select System that lets you adjust for road conditions on the fly.
