So one of the main things to know about the difference between the Cadillac ATS and XTS is size. The XTS is plain and simple a larger vehicle. It measures 16 feet, 10 inches in length and just over 6 feet in width. In comparison, the ATS is just 15 feet, 2.8 inches in length and under 6 feet in width. Obviously, this difference translates to the interior of the vehicles as the XTS offers more head room, leg room and overall interior room than the XTS. And when it comes to cargo space, the XTS offers maximum cargo capacity of 18 cubic feet while the ATS offers 10.2 cubic feet.

The only engine option on the XTS is the 3.6-liter V6 which still gets an impressive 28 MPG highway fuel economy. The ATS on the other hand offers several different engine options for consumers. It does feature a 3.6-liter V6, but the more common engines under the hood are either the 2.5-liter four-cylinder or the 2.0-liter four-cylinder. These engines both offer up 33 MPG highway fuel economy while getting some good kick in the performance category as well. The 2.5 offers up 202 horsepower while the 2.0 offers up an amazing 272 horsepower thanks to a turbo.

Obviously, there are going to be some style differences between the two vehicles and they also offer some great technology features.
